Using Monocrystal™ copper conductors in our acclaimed concentric strand, rope-lay weave, this 'speaker' cable delivers a punchy, dynamic and detailed performance within a soundstage that conveys accurate width, depth and height perspectives.

MONOCRYSTAL™ pure copper is Ecosse's pioneering commitment to conductor material development ensuring, uniquely, a complete lack of 'grain-boundaries' in the signal transmission direction- impurities which would normally impede the delicate audio or video signals and result in attenuation and distortion.

Here, a unique casting process (extrusion and annealing) is employed to produce a 'mono' or single crystal ultra-pure wire with significant advantages over other cables currently available. These other cables use ordinary copper or silver, which, no matter how few grains the manufacturer claims, have a grain barrier of oxygen and hydrogen.

The MS2.3 cable, having an unusually large X-sectional area, lowers DC resistance, which extends low frequency information while a greater effective surface area extends high frequency information.

It is particularly desirable where long runs of 'speaker' cable are necessary e.g. in home cinema/multi-room set-ups. The MS2.3 represents our top of the range multi-stranded 'speaker' cable.
